This beautiful Kadazan Girl from Penampang Sabah is representing Malaysia to Miss Earth 2009 Beauty Pageant. The 9th edition of Miss Earth beauty pageant, will be held at the Boracay Ecovillage Resort and Convention Center, in the Island of Boracay, Philippines on November 22, 2009.

2-2 Draw Match this morning. Come on Reds. You can do better! Yesterday workout was something. 45 minutes only & I was exhausted! Almost fainted because of the energy loss. I was lack of oxygen I think, didn't rest quite well the past few days. My sleeping hours were so mess up..Like I said, it's not so good! I should get enough rest..The workout steps at 5 p.m. later today should be lighter, Cardio Dance. Love it!

Adobe Photoshop

My skill in Adobe Photoshop is still zero. Just ask anyone out there, I bet lots of them are pretty sure how to operate this creative software and the result is awesome! I wanna learn too but it takes time to look into each of the functions. My dear did showed me some of the functions last time (briefly) but I still think it's complicated and bothersome. Oh, wait! Maybe I just don't have the artistic talent in me. Not that I can't live without it :p

Well, adobe photoshop is normally used to create/adjust an image to make it more grand. Not actually grand but more to artistic/creative, I mean something that wowed you. Add stuffs here and there such as tattoos or just a simple touch to delete your mole(s) or even colored your artwork (sketches) etcs. Nah..realistically (mainly), it is used to enhance one's beauty. Just like a cover girl on any magazines, she is sure has flawless, glowing & sharp image etcs. Outer beauty may trick you thus what matter is one's inner beauty. :)

I'm just saying that, it's the trend now where people love to sit in front of their computers to adjust their pics, to cover up their photos' imperfections. Still, nothing is perfect but new nicer images are created. Nothing is wrong about it, I did it too but like I mentioned earlier, I have no idea how to use Adobe Photoshop (AP) but I must learn it one day. Who knows, it can be handy in the future, I want to be prepared. To have various computer skills are crucial nowadays.

For now, the software I found easier & simple is Paint software... ok I'm kidding, it is Paint.NET. Less complicated compared to AP and suitable for beginners like myself. Basically, what I did to my imperfect pics were just a simple noise reduction until my image were flawless/smooth. lols. Nah, I don't want it to look TOO MUCH though. The pics must look as original as it can be. When my pictures were too dark (sometimes there's problem with camera lighting), I'll click the Glow button to make my images' brighter :) Alternatively, to simply get a different feeling, I changed my pics to black and white color or just put is as a portrait (darker pics with sharp shading).

Puffs! That's it. Your skin will be flawless and fairer.
As simple as that. Look at my pics below. ;) Mixture between noise reduction & glow (only if your pic is dark). If your pic is slightly blur, click the "sharpen" tab.

^_^I normally applied this Paint.NET functions to my pics to reduce the tiny acnes and other minor concerns (any black dot-dot or etc). I'll make sure it is nicely done and looks original. So a little of non-smoothness is okay because it shows the originality. The best thing is, all these steps are going to take only 3 minutes of your time or less. Though the outcome is not as good as AP, it is terrific enough! *wink* But if your want more of professionals-look-alike-touch, I suggest you to learn Adobe Photoshop. :) and you might as well "operate" your features up to your likeness.

Social Networks

Right, I've deleted my Tagged account last night. I don't really spend time on Tagged, just simply created one. I put up 3 photos only in Tagged.com but deleted all of them just before closed my account. Thus, I decided to do the same with my Friendster account. I thought it was my last visit to my FS account last night but I ended up keeping the account. But for sure, no more updates, I switched entirely to FB and seldom touch my FS. Why bother to keep it anyway? LoL

I do have other social networks application such as Ringo, MySpace, Perfspot etcs but FB is the easiest for now, reliable & it's the trend. So, I never bother about other networks. No time to check/update them one by one. I value my precious time bah even though I spent most of my time on FB... (wasted, 2 x 5 saja)

Bah, I no longer have the Tagged account. I don't mind at all. (might delete the rest of inactive networks one by one eventually). For now, I stick to FB. Guess what, I browsed all my albums in FS and saw some nice pictures of me back in 2006-2008. I WAS SLIM & young.

Yes. I want to slim down again & be healthy. I did it once, I will.. again. Wish me the best! ^_^

Today aerobic step was FUN. We were using the Fitness/ Exercise Ball (my first time) and kinda like it. Tomorrow is the last workout for this week. :) Oh ya, I did some Cardio Dance too. Love it. Sleepy already now. Off to bed soon. :)

Customization :)

TOO many unknown people in my FB Friends' list and my account is being vulnerable to any sort of things, good, bad or neutral. To prevent further unwelcome notes, I decided to keep things private to people I don't know well and remove connection for those I find annoying and total strangers. Some are still acceptable but not all of them are being nice. I'm sorry.

Anyway, I've sent out friend request to only people I know mainly to keep in touch. However, exception to those who are in modeling path (Female only). Nah I just love to "see" their pictures and poses... :) Outfits, their experiences and so on.

Well, I think I created lots of group already to differentiate who knows me and who doesn't but everything is still in a mess. Oh ya..I just remember, I did add people (less than 100 people I think) for the sake of FB games (lols) but I already put them in groups. Now, I have like 1700++ friends altogether minus some I've removed. Probably 700 of them are unknown. It's not that they bring any harm to me yet (hopefully not now or in near future) but I think I have to lessen their numbers just to make sure everything is under control & easier for me to excess to my friends' accounts.

I don't simply receive any friend request anymore nowadays and I still need to customize them all and allow only people that close to me to get a proper look at my profile :) I think twice to accept friends' friends next time. But if I think your are a nice person, we can be FB friends. Why not? :)

No, don't get me wrong. I know where I stand, I'm not a celebrity or anything. It's not that thousands of people wanted to add me or the other way. It's just my way of saying, to keep things a little bit secured plus it's my account so it's up to me how to handle things. :)

In the mood of doing my proposal now :) Hopefully there's fruitful outcome tonight ^_^b. Off to do my 2nd mission later at 5 p.m. My third time this week and hopefully my body can bear the pain and get used to it. I mean my muscles... but have to keep going and push myself. ;) Funny but "No Pain, No Gain". Ouch!

Birthday Party at 7 p.m. later. 3 in 1 Party, Mel's side (Happy Birthday to his sister, his nephew and his sister's MIL).. aarrrggh...all the good Food plus it's night time. fuuuh.. Temptation!

Aerobics! ^^

Dancing is what I like to do, performing on stage for instant. However, it has been ages since my last performance, missed those days badly. Since I am jobless at this moment and still working on my research proposal for Master, I am in need of some amusement. How & What??? Just look at this post's title. Period. :)

Telling you the truth, it's definitely a good way to get in shape especially for those who love to dance *shake shake your body*. The same thing been bothering me again and again and I desperately need to shed few kilos. I did in couple of months (Jun-July) surviving with less amount of rice and meat. Nevertheless, I want to lose more because I've gained drastically this year. Jump off scale out of sudden. August, September & October, I did nothing to burn out the calories except for non-consistent 15-20 minutes cardio twice a week. Not enough for someone who really need to lose weight, huh?

So, after three months of inconsistent or silent workout, I decided to push myself more. Besides, Christmas is near (two months from now). But my ultimate target is to achieve my dream weight by April 2010 and it's six months from now. I know this sounds so familiar, but I really need to stick to my healthy diet and aerobic regimes. Wish me the best >.<
The more the merrier...

Thus, for now, I focus on my Research proposal and in the mean time enjoying myself with AEROBICS ^_^ Sooooo niiiceee...

Saturday it is :)


A few more days for Saturday to come.
Everything seems to go with the flows.
Yet so many tiny, little details need to be settled.

Busy days ahead...
These few more days suppose to be just sitting down & relax..
Even worst, I can't keep my anger in place.
Been kinda moody lately..sshh.. I know it's not good.
Maybe it's just the period.
I should close my eyes & take a deep breath....

Liverpool Vs MANU last night! 2-0 yaaaay..I am so happy for the Reds! YNWA..xx! Nice.

Anyways, just got a 2.0 cm long cut on my right hand today from IDK where. Minor cut, a scratch actually. Suppose to give my first proposal update to Dr. today but I haven't finished it yet. Good news and confirmed; The Master application forms submission date is before or on the 22nd November. I have more time and I still hope I can see Dr. this week & show something, methods perhaps. I don't want Dr. to think that I am not serious about my research. Well, Ozie just blurted out something to Dr. today which is not a big deal anyway. We really thought Dr. knew about it. I even told Dr. myself; maybe Dr. thought that I was making up stories last time.

Told my closest friends about the great news already (No.18); Alice, 10, Ryana, Henna, SLY, Nana, Olivia & Yun. Going to tell M-N, Ken & Niu also soon (my sweet ex-roommates) ;) Still waiting for the Map to be ready...Can't wait for the F&F gathering this Saturday :)

Research Grant...

Thought that it's gonna be only the two of us, Ozie & I who will further our studies, turned out Nor had made her decision too. She was confused & indecisive before. She told us she wanted to get a job & her family kinda encourage her to work first. :) I get that mixed feelings too but my first priority is of course to continue study. To seek for a job is my second choice. Nah..I made the decision without calculating my budget first. huhuu.. huge amount needed but the most important thing is to get the Post Grad. offer letter first :) I'll figure out how to find the money to pay for Post Grad. fee later ;)

Anyway, I am happy for her decision to continue study. The three of us are going to spend most of our time together, especially in lab but of course we are doing different research, :) only with same Supervisor. Ohya another coursemate, Ah Boo is also taking master in UMS but with Dr.Mike. She is Dr.Mike's RA as well.

I actually still have doubts about my future research because my Supervisor did not offer any Research Grant for me (the same with Ozie). I mean Dr. did not have enough grant to offer. As for Nor, she is involving in a huge/important Project & I guess she might get a grant. Good for her. Not so good for Ozie & I. From what I learned, Grant is needed to help in your research. Government will pay for your research and as well as giving allowances to do the research. Government is supporting your research and there is income (money) each month. It's like salary. How I wish to get a Research Grant :(

Ah Boo & other friends advised me to do Master under a lecturer with Research Grant. Well, Dr. said there are enough materials for Tissue Culture Research/Project at the time being and we (Ozie & I) can carry on with our research but we still have to find other sources of money to support our works.

Is it okay to do Master without Research Grant??? I have no idea but I think it should be okay. The Grant is needed for research funds. So, I should be okay without the Grant and find other sources of money later. What I have in mind currently is UMS Scholarship/ PGT/ Mini. I asked a few of my seniors about it but I can only apply for it after I get the offer letter. So, I can't do much at this moment.

All I need to do now is to complete the Post Grad application forms & Research Proposal.hmm.. not knowing how to prepare a good Research Proposal, but I think I can do the basic one with Title, Intro, purpose/objective and Method... :) I've printed out a few related-journals already but I still need more of journals.

Thanks to Mell for the good news, I have more time to do the Proposal. I have till next month ^_^ Told Ozie & Nor already and I am sure they are happy with this news too.

Hopefully I can settle my Proposal very soon and meeting Dr. this early November. :) I planned to meet Dr. next week but I guess I do it on the 1st week of November ;)

Was watching A nice Hindi Movie just now titled, "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke" for the second or third times but still loving the storyline and I got emo. lols I don't normally watch movies/ dramas for more than one time but some are exceptional ^_^b. Well, I like Preity Zinta bah.. She is not just a pretty face and talented actress but is also highly educated ;D Woman who speaks her own mind out aloud; I find it rather influential. :) One more, try watch this Hindi Movie, "Kal Ho Naa Ho", Tomorrow May Not Come...
